We all feel fatigued, exhausted, or overwhelmed from time to time.

It's normal, and it's okay to admit when you're under pressure. David Bowie & Queen wrote a whole song about it!

This is just life, but it gets much more bearable and easier once you instill some positive habits to help you jump back into the groove.

4. Develop Coping Skills

 

When you start feeling this sensation of being overwhelmed, it's okay to distract yourself.

I find the best way to calm myself is to create something. Write a song, draw a picture, anything that lets me exert creative energy in a way that want to.

Other healthy coping skills I implement are yoga, meditation, Wim Hof Method, going to the gym, or going for a run. 

Feeling overwhelmed may make you feel guilty for doing these things, but don't! It's important to get out and carry out these healthy habits.

3. Essential Oils

 

I know you probably just gave your screen a complete eye roll, but I'm serious! 

The human sense that recalls the most memory is the sense of smell. So here's what I do:

I have Tangerine oil, which is good for happiness and clarity. When I first smelled it, I made sure I was in a good mindset and meditating.

So now whenever I get overwhelmed, I just put on my Tangerine essential oil, and it brings me right back to that meditative state!

2. Hit the Brakes

 

Take a deep breathe. Inhale..... and exhale.

Take a step back and look at the big picture. Great things don't happen overnight, and they certainly don't come easy.

It's okay to lighten your workload or delegate some tasks - it also just might make you more efficient.

1. Acupressure Points

 

 

 

The sense of touch is also very powerful.

Having someone touch, tap, or massage you when they know how and where to touch is very soothing.

You don't even need to hire a masseuse! There are plenty of easy DIY guides on the internet.

Being overwhelmed can easily throw you into a vicious downward spiral.

But if you regularly implement these habits and some of your own, you will be able to see the early signs of anxiety and be better adept to handling it.
