New Year's resolutions are coming up, and it's always a good idea to start planning ahead.
I figured it would benefit you to get a jump on your resolutions by providing you with my tried and proven methods of planning & executing goals!
How to Efficiently Plan Your Goals
I can't tell you what your goals are; they are slumbering inside, waiting to be awoken by you. I can however tell you how to plan them.
Once you find what truly makes you happy and fills you with positive emotion, write down 5 general steps you need to take in order to fulfill each goal.
Once you figure this out, plan out what you need to do to either achieve or get closer to accomplishing these goals over 90 days. Be realistic, but also aggressive. You have more potential than you could ever imagine.
Once this is done, every week, write down weekly goals to achieve the bigger ones. Think to yourself, "What do I need to do this week to accomplish my 90 day goals?"
Finally, every morning, get out a piece of paper, or daily planner, and write down your long term goals at the top, the ones from the very beginning. Then, write down your targets for the day. (Pull them from your weekly goals.) As you complete these goals throughout the day, cross them out and write them under 'Successes'. Finally, right before you go to sleep, write down your long term goals again.
Now that you have the ultimate system, the trick is executing and committing. Here are some basic tips; some may seem extreme, but trust me, they work.
Wake up at the same time every day, early
Yoga or regular exercise
